This has been updated as a learning experiment with Flash 8. It now uses proper components for the controls plus, an ActionScript Tween to slide the panel in and out. The blurry background is done using Bitmap classes in Flash with the help of this tutorial. Watch out for tweaks as I discover more Bitmap stuff...
